Facebook has announced two important updates to the news feed
- A reduction in click-baiting headlines (the ones that say, “… you’ll never believe what he did next!” type of thing)
- Native link posts will get more priority over links shared as photo posts or status updates.
Many Page owners publish links as photo posts because, historically, photos have had better news feed visibility. Or, Pages will ‘x’ out the link preview and share as a status update. But now, Facebook wants us to use the native format
